Area 51

The near-mythical Area 51 is a restricted U.S. military research area in the Nevada desert. Its existence was kept secret for decades and only confirmed by the CIA in 2013. Protected by motion sensors, patrols of armed guards, and a no-fly zone covering the entire site, it’s no wonder that it’s also surrounded by conspiracy theories. It is rumoured to house an underground research facility where crashed spaceships and their extraterrestrial crews, dead or alive, are examined. The alleged goal is to harness advanced extraterrestrial technologies such as anti-gravity. This knowledge is purportedly used to develop and test new types of aircraft and weapons on-site.
However, the wild speculation about Area 51 encounters a significant hurdle: so far, all the photos and so-called evidence of aliens and UFOs have proven to be fakes.
