"Is it true that the legendary Atlantis is located in the North Sea?"

Adventurers and researchers have been searching for Atlantis since Plato first described the fate of this lost empire. Most searches have historically focused on the Mediterranean region. However, the Nazis developed a unique belief in an ‘Atlantis-in-the-North,’ which they considered the cradle of Germanic culture. According to their ideology, its inhabitants were a pure-bred, spiritually advanced society with connections to higher powers. SS chief Heinrich Himmler was convinced that Heligoland in the North Sea was the remnant of this lost Aryan homeland. Despite several research expeditions to the island, no evidence has been found of a great civilization, much less the mythical Aryans.
