"Is climate change a hoax?"

Many conspiracy theorists claim that climate change is a hoax. After all, they argue, there are still cold days in winter! So, where is this global warming, they ask. In their view, the ‘alarmist rhetoric’ from governments, scientists, and mainstream media is merely a tool to impose higher taxes (like a climate tax), boost the sale of green technologies, and further restrict individual freedoms.
However, scientific evidence clearly proves that climate change is real – and that it poses a significant threat to our planet. Since it is primarily caused by human activity, especially the emission of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels, it is an issue where we can all contribute – to prevent the worst-case scenario from happening.
