Eternal Empire

The Reichsbürger ideology consists of a collection of conspiracy theories that reject today’s Germany as a legitimate state. Many followers of the Reichsbürger scene are convinced that the German Reich never ceased to exist and that the Federal Republic of Germany is merely a puppet government installed by the Allied forces. Allegedly, Germany did not surrender after World War II, but merely agreed to an armistice with the self-proclaimed victors. That is why some fractions of the Reichsbürger movement are preparing for ‚Day X‘, when they want to overthrow the state and revive the German Reich. It is above all their fanaticism and high propensity for violence that make them a danger to society – which is why they are under observation by the secret service.
