EU and Eurabia

The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of European countries with the aim of promoting peace, stability and prosperity. However, some conspiracy theorists believe that its real purpose is to establish a supranational government. They claim that the EU would deliberately promote mass immigration in order to destroy European culture and identity. The spread of Islam would be intended to bring about a cultural and demographic transformation: Europe is to become Eurabia under Muslim foreign rule. This ridiculous theory is not only unfounded but also harmful, as it is used as a means of stirring up fear and xenophobia, particularly by members of the extreme right-wing milieu.
