False History

That’s what conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones, founder of the far-right website Infowars, claim. They believe that the entire history of humanity is controlled by a secret elite, which promotes certain narratives while suppressing others – with the aim of manipulating public opinion. According to them, not only historical events and figures are falsified, but incidents like the Sandy Hook shooting are completely invented or staged. No kidding? What a bold statement, especially considering that the proponents of this theory are themselves the undisputed masters at twisting facts.
