Jihad Wars

"Did the USA create the terrorists it went to war against?"

In 1979, the CIA launched the so-called ‘Operation Cyclone.’ The goal was to recruit, train, and arm young Sunni men to fight against Soviet forces in Afghanistan. These fighters and their ideology later became the foundation for jihadist groups like al-Qaeda. Because of this, many conspiracy theorists are convinced that the US itself is to blame for the ‘War on Terror.’ Some even believe that the US secretly controls international terror groups to this day. By operating under false flags, they could allegedly pursue geopolitical goals, such as securing control over oil resources in other countries. Experts, however, consider such theories to be overly simplistic.
