Are we on the way of becoming a society of cyborgs?Transhumanism seeks to transcend human biological limits through technologies such as brain-computer interfaces, robotics, nanotechnology, and genetic manipulation. Although these innovations aim to enhance human capabilities and improve life quality, there’s growing unease about their potential to create a dystopian future. In this envisioned world, unmodified humans could be marginalized by enhanced cyborgs, and unchecked technological progress could ultimately lead to dominance by machines and AI. These fears are reinforced by respected scientists who caution that developers already struggle to fully understand or predict their programs’ behaviours.
