"Can physical objects be moved by thought alone?"

Telekinesis is a recurring theme in parapsychology and pop culture. It refers to the supposed ability to move or influence objects using only the power of the mind, without physical contact. The term comes from the Greek words tele (distant) and kinesis (movement). During the Cold War, both the USA and the Soviet Union are said to have researched such abilities. Conspiracy theorists speculate that telekinesis is secretly used by elites to manipulate people or control their consciousness. However, there is no scientific evidence to support its existence. Or has that evidence simply been telekinetically removed in time?
