Time Travel

Ever since Terminator (1984) and Back to the Future, Hollywood has discovered the topic of time travel. Blockbusters such as Inception, Interstellar, Looper, Tenet or Everything Everywhere All at Once show that the theme continues to capture the imagina- tion of filmmakers. No wonder that conspiracy theorists are also intrigued. They claim that time travel is already taking place today in secret laboratories and is used for secret missions, historical ma- nipulations or even for the creation of new timelines that change the course of history. Historical photos showing people who bear a striking resemblance to living persons are cited as proof. However, this is far from credible evidence: Time travel still belongs to the realm of speculation and fiction.
