Tin Foil Hat

"What is the best protection against electromagnetic radiation, surveillance, and mind control?"

The aluminium foil hat has become a symbol for those who believe in conspiracy myths. The concept originates from the 1927 science fiction story The Tissue-Culture King by Julian Huxley, where such hats are described as protection against telepathic influences. Today, the tin foil hat is often associated with paranoia and irrational fears. It is used dismissively to discredit the views of conspiracy theorists. At the same time, conspiracy believers sometimes adopt the hat ironically or as a symbol during protests to distinguish themselves from the so-called 'sheeple.'
